Boris Georgiev – Mokata –First sportsmen in Bulgarian history who become a medalist(bronze) from the Olympics 1952-Helsinki,Finland
Boris Georgiev(also known as Mokata) was born on 6 March 1929.He is one of the most famous alive Bulgarian boxer,Olympic medalist and Honorary citizen of Dobrich.He won the first ever Bulgarian medal from the modern Summer Olympics.In 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki he won the bronze medal upto 75kg.Mokata is one of the people who carried the Olympic fire during its road to Moskva 1980 and Athens 2004.He has 289 fights and he neverd get a KO or even be in a knock- down position.He is also 8 times champion of Bulgaria.
Georgi Kostadinov – Olympic Gold Medalist – 1972 Munich,Germany
Georgi Kostadinov is a Bulgarian boxer who won the Gold medal in the 1972 Summer Olympic games in Munich.He is the first Bulgarian Olympic boxing champion.He was born on 3 March 1950 in Bourgas,Bulgaria.
Ivailo Marinov– Olympic Gold Medalist – 1988 Seoul
Ivailo Marinov is a Bulgarian boxer who won the bronze medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics in light flyweight division,and the gold medal in the same category at the 1988 Summer Olympics.Besides his Olympic results he also won the gold medal at the World Championship in 1982.He also won four gold medals in the European Boxing Championships in 1981, 1983, 1989 and 1991 and a silver medal in 1985. He was picked as Bulgaria’s No. 1 Boxer of the 20th Century in a survey conducted by the Bulgarian Association of Boxing Journalists
Daniel Petrov – Olympic Gold Medalist
Daniel Petrov is a Bulgarian boxer who won silver medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics,Barcelona and a GOLD medal from the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.Petrov started his career in Varna after that he continues as a boxer of Slavia(Sofia). He became a champion of the country several times. In 1993 he captured the European title in Bursa, Turkey. Two years later he won the world title at the 1995 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Berlin, Germany, followed by the European title a year later in Vejle, Denmark.Currently works in the Minestry of Interior system.
Serafim Todorov – Last men on world who beat Floyd Mayweather Jr
Serafim Todorov is a Bulgarian boxer born on 6 July 1969 in Plovdiv.Serafim Todorov is one of the best Bulgarian fighters of all times.While his amateur career he became 3 times champion of the World and 3 times European champion.He won 2 times Bulgarian sportsmen of the year(1991,1993).Three times champion of Strandzha Cup – 1989,1993,1996.When he was on top of his glory managers from USA offered him a professional career but he refused.In the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta,USA Serafim Todorov won in a dramatic fight against FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR(currently undefeated in 39 fights and one of the best professional boxers) after that Serafim continued to won the silver medal.Actually Seradim Todorov is the last men on world who beated Floyd in a boxing fight.

Martin Krastev - First Bulgarian EBU champion
On 26 december ,1996 Martin Krastev won the EBU title in the superbantamweight division against the French Salim Mechkun after a KO in the first round.Six months later he lost the title against the British Oliver “The Procobra” Spencer.

Toncho Dimitrov Tonchev (Born December 1, 1972 in Sliven) is a Bulgarian boxer,who won the lightweight silver medal at the 1996 summer Olympics. Tonchev also represented Bulgaria in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona,Spain.
