An away fighter enters the ring without the home crowd behind him. A result is his clearest opportunity to challenge expectations. Emilov has done exactly that, facing unbeaten prospects in England and bringing home a draw from France. This profile looks beyond the headline numbers: who he faced, where they fought and what the official record actually says.
Vasko Alexeev dates their working relationship to 2016. He describes Emilov as a fit, resilient and awkward opponent who turns up to win, regardless of the name in the opposite corner. A draw on French soil against a ten-win opponent: another away assignment Emilov completed without defeat.
Six rounds ended level against an unbeaten prospect. Palmer entered with three wins from three; Emilov ended that winning run without handing him an official defeat.
Another six-round away draw, this time against an eleven-win opponent. Emilov’s positive results abroad were not confined to fighters at the very start of their professional careers.
One of Emilov’s strongest results. Richardson had won and defended the Southern Area super-welterweight title. He finished his career at 12–0–1, with that sole draw coming against Angel. Comparing the records makes Emilov the only professional opponent Richardson did not beat.
An away victory over four rounds ended Keenan’s six-fight winning start. BoxRec records the result, while a Press Association editorial photograph distributed by Getty Images captures Emilov celebrating his victory. It is a standout moment from his years working with Alexeev Boxing.
Emilov stopped the unbeaten Jarvis away from home. This win predates the 2016 start of the partnership given by his manager. It belongs in his career story, but is not presented as a bout arranged by Alexeev Boxing.
The following bouts are official losses. Their significance lies in the calibre and later achievements of the opponents—not in a claim that the results should be overturned.

Emilov completed six rounds at Grand Central Hall. Rafferty later won Commonwealth and British super-lightweight titles. His record stood at 27–0–1 when checked on 10 September 2026: an opponent who remained unbeaten.
The official result against Pauls was a loss for Emilov. In July 2024, Pauls became British middleweight champion by stopping Nathan Heaney in the twelfth round, giving their earlier meeting the context of a future champion’s rise.
A six-round contest early in Eubank’s professional career ended in defeat for Angel. By the September 2026 review, Eubank had reached 22 wins and two losses. He was unbeaten when he faced Emilov, but is no longer undefeated.
A small points margin may indicate a competitive fight, but it does not by itself establish unfair judging. A responsible assessment needs scorecards, full footage and context such as knockdowns or deductions. This review did not reliably verify specific one- or two-point losses for Emilov. No speculative scores have therefore been added, and draws remain draws. The team’s view that his performances often exceeded what the record suggests is kept distinct from the official results.

A majority-decision win over Brazil’s Felipe Maia: 49–45, 49–45 and 47–47 according to BKFC’s official report. Maia had previously knocked out Martin Stoichkov at BKFC 54.
A split-decision victory in the final preliminary bout. BKFC described an evenly matched, back-and-forth contest and stated that the judges’ scores were not read out.
