The men's team finishes the year as national team champions — the result of consistency, shared effort and growing competition in the gym.
2024A renewed gym and the team cup
The men's team wins the team cup. The refurbished Gerena gym gives every age group better conditions for training, sparring and preparation.
A strong new generation
Yasen Radev wins European youth titles, while Nikolay Zafirov, Kiril Borisov and Blagovest May add European medals for the club.
Levski Boxing Club
The section is reorganised as Levski Boxing Club and continues the tradition as a member of Levski Sports Club — Sofia.
Levski-Spartak
The merger of the sports societies opens a new chapter for the club. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, its fighters win more medals and its boxing programme continues to grow.
The first championship titles
Boris Stoilov at flyweight and Stoyan Atsev at lightweight become the club’s first champions. Atsev also wins Balkan silver and an award for best technical boxer.
The first competitive team
Stoyan Atsev, Boris Stoilov, Yordan Skrinski, Petko Mitsev and their fellow enthusiasts lay the foundations of the first representative team.
Boxing begins at Levski
The sports society establishes a boxing section chaired by Pando Nikushev. Early organisers, coaches and boxers include Stoyan Stavrev and Boris Aleksiev.
NAMES THAT MADE HISTORY
Dimitar Velinov, Petar Stankov, Simeon Georgiev, Dimitar Milev, Vladimir Kolev, Deyan Kirilov, Angel Stoyanov, Rosen Ibishev, Serafim Todorov and Daniel Petrov are among those who left a lasting mark on the club, the national team and Bulgarian boxing.

THE GERENA GYM
Renovated facilities for daily training.
The club trains on the second floor of the building opposite Sector A of Georgi Asparuhov Stadium. Officially opened in October 2024, the renovated gym has two new rings and modern equipment. Two refurbished club flats are also available for young boxers from across Bulgaria.

The Levski Cup — putting children at the heart of boxing.
The inaugural tournament brought more than 100 boys aged 12–14 from 25 clubs to Dianabad Hall. Levski Boxing Club organised it with the Bulgarian Boxing Federation and support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The club reports that participation and event arrangements were provided free of charge to the children and their clubs, and that every participant received a pair of professional boxing gloves.
Martin Raychev received the special award in memory of longstanding coach Yuriy Slavchev. The ambition is to grow the tournament into an international event.

Wladimir Klitschko visits the Levski gym.
During his visit to Sofia, one of the greatest heavyweight champions in history met children, coaches and boxers. Young fighters had a rare chance to hear first-hand about his career and what discipline and persistence had helped him achieve.
