Yasen is a Levski Boxing Club boxer and Bulgarian national team member. His European youth titles in 2019 and 2020 form part of the strong foundation he carries into senior competition. In April 2026, he adds a bronze medal at 55 kg from the World Cup in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.
On 25 May 2024, Radev makes his professional debut against Leotrim Rexhepi in Sofia and wins after four rounds. In November 2025, a victory over Mihail Volkanovski follows, ending in the first round.
