Stoycho Nedev will box in front of his home crowd on 28 November 2026 at Mladost Hall in Burgas. Represented by Alexeev Boxing, he faces unbeaten Toma “Karma” Velikov at ELITBET MAX FIGHT 67. Scheduled for six rounds at super welterweight, the contest pits Nedev’s experience against the ambition of a young opponent who has made a winning start as a professional.
For us, this is a bout in which Stoycho deserves wholehearted support. We respect Velikov’s ability and recognise the difficulty of the challenge. We also believe our boxer has what it takes to win and give the crowd a result to celebrate.
Experience built in amateur boxing too
At 38, Nedev brings experience that extends beyond his professional record. A multiple medallist at Bulgarian national championships, he also won the 71 kg division in the second round of the national individual and team championship in Varna. The Bulgarian Boxing Federation lists him there as a representative of Pobeda Burgas.
His professional record in BoxRec stands at three wins and two defeats, with one knockout victory. He has won his last three appearances in MAX FIGHT. The most recent is familiar to the Burgas crowd: on 18 July 2026, he stopped Svetlin Spasov in the fourth round at MAX FIGHT 66.
An unbeaten opponent with Tervel Pulev in his corner
Velikov is 20 and arrives with three wins from three professional bouts, one by knockout. The Varna boxer is trained by Tervel Pulev, who will be in his corner. In his most recent appearance, at MAX FIGHT 65 in Plovdiv, “Karma” beat Yuliyan Madev by unanimous decision.
The six-round distance gives this contest a different shape from Velikov’s previous four-round bouts. For Stoycho, composure, judgement of distance and pacing will matter. His experience and character are the reasons for our confidence ahead of the fight.
Burgas can be in his corner
The bout is part of the Saint Nicholas Cup initiative organised by MAX FIGHT and Burgas Municipality. Under the announced format, the trophy will go to the winner of the boxing bout selected as the night’s most exciting. It adds another incentive to the card, but does not automatically make Nedev–Velikov a cup decider.
At Alexeev Boxing, we stand behind Stoycho and invite fans to support him at Mladost Hall. We believe he can win this difficult fight. On 28 November, let him feel the backing of Burgas from the opening bell. Good luck, Stoycho!
